K.u.k. Feldjäger

(imperial and royal marksmen polni; to 1867 as the Imperial or Feldjäger Kk-king shooters polni) - Aus trian light infantry period of Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Until 1 868 the Austrian infantry was divided into four formations: line infantry regiments, infantry regiments of the frontier, field rifle battalions (Feldjägerbataillone) and Tyrolean Imperial Rifle Regiment. In 1808, nine battalions of riflemen were organized wild, and four years later, a further three battalions.
